With the alleviation of Covid regulations in China, this year has brought forth the return of exhibitions and fairs aimed to get cross border business relationships up and running again. China Cross-Border E-Commerce Fair is a large-scale international trade event with the theme of cross-border e-commerce in China. It provides a platform for industry professionals, businesses and e-commerce enthusiasts to showcase products, exchange insights and make vital connections in the fast-growing field of cross-border e-commerce. The show attracts a wide range of participants, including e-commerce platforms, logistics providers, customs brokers, payment service providers, digital marketing agencies and manufacturers from China. It provides opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and business collaboration.
Evermore has for the first time joined one of these events particularly called CCEF (China Cross-border E-commerce Fair) with a handful of our samples; to show the versatility of silicones, and the goal of developing working relationships with potential clients that may require our services. Evermore as a manufacturer specializes in the customized production of silicone products in industries such as kitchenware, consumer goods, baby and maternity products as well as pet products. Our booth managed to attract multiple potential clients working in online retailing platforms such as Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, etc. We also got the chance to speak with clients that were interested in starting their own brand as well in those platforms. We sat down with them along with our factory manager to discuss their products feasibility, production methods, as well as give them an estimated quotation for the production of their ideas.
Andy, one of our factory managers and designers, was interviewed by a local news page that wanted to understand our company's current exhibition experience, as well as our goals, company profile, capabilities and services. It was a great way for the company to get exposure as it attracted quite a curious crowd.
The main highlight of the exhibition was when our CEO Sasan Salek was interviewed by China Central Television (CCTV) to share his story on how he brought the company up as well as share his life experiences of staying in China for more than 15 years. Sasan further explained his views on our company culture and how we differ from domestic manufacturers, he also explained our working relationship with clients abroad. To their surprise, Sasan was fluent in Mandarin and the interview went smoothly for 15 minutes.
We would like to thank those who attended; the conductors, attendees, and fellow exhibitors who took the time off their weekend to set up their booths and shared their views in their operating industries. It was also a good experience for our team to be able to go out and represent both Evermore and Sasanian under a similar booth, we look forward to showing up to more exhibitions in the future!
